My Own Unbagging - GW Travel PUK
OK. So Engadget has started this thing called an unbagging where you send in a pic of your gear and a list of what is in the bag. I tried sending my input in, but I never get published for any of that stuff. Through all of the magazine letters, PodCast voicemails, tech site emails I've sent, my input is never one of the ones that gets posted. So I figure that the chance of seeing my kit posted on Engadget is about nil. Well, Engadget got the idea from a popular Flickr pastime, so I guess the concept is popular domain. And I was posting travel loadout photos a long time ago anyway.
Problem is, I have been traveling less, at least in terms of trips of one week or longer. So, the Travel Loadout photos will return in the guise of the "GearWERKz (GW) Travel PUK" series of posts, to provide some feedback on the trips of shorter duration that are going on now. Here's the first, which describes my typical daily loadout for work.
I am an engineering manager with a marine electronics company. I have a few mobile kits, of which this is probably the most mundane. It is, however, the one that I carry most frequently and goes with me back and forth to work every day.
