Daily Playlist - First MP Session in Borderlands
A week on the road. A week with a gaming PC that I could not game on. It was nice to be at home with a multi-player session with my workmates on the calendar. I will likely never get tired of any of the titles in the Rainbow Six series. Our most recent cup of tea has been Rainbow Six Vegas 2. But we wanted to shake things up a wee bit, and so we decided to start incorporating sessions of Borderlands into our weeknights on the PlayStation Network.
With the limited co-op as the only available game-mode (that is all I could figure out tonight; I'll have to search for more at a later date), the game is entertaining but not a blockbuster. There is a good bit of players running around in their own areas of the map, trying to figure out what is going on and where they should be (or not).
I am only a mild fan of the title itself in general. Mainly because it has the same floaty controls that so many PlayStation first-person shooter games have had since the PSOne time. It is playable and fun, but not a blast. I was counting on the multi-player to bring the game over the bar of me feeling like it was a really great choice. Not so much the case.
Well, my two friends bought it, and they love it, so I'll be on board for quite a while. Hopefully, things will pick up.
